What is VEX?
The VEX Robotics Design System offers students an exciting platform for learning about areas rich with career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). These are just a few of the many fields students can explore by creating with VEX Robotics technology. Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project encourages teamwork, leadership and problem solving among groups. The affordable VEX platform is expanding rapidly and is now found in middle schools, high schools and university labs around the globe. Robotics hobbyists also appreciate the advanced capabilities of the VEX System.
Grades 4-6
For Grades 4-6 we will be forming VEX IQ teams, to compete in VEX IQ Challenges. Signup is on a "first-come, first-served" basis as we may have to limit enrollment.
Grades 7-12
For Grades 7-12 we will be forming VEX EDR teams, to compete in VEX VRC Challenges. Signup is on a "first-come, first-served" basis as we may have to limit enrollment.
Important Notes:
- Signup fees are due at enrollment. A student is not fully signed-up until fees are received.
- This is a parent run program, and we expect/strongly-encourage parents and family members to volunteer to help run the various activities. If we don't get enough volunteers, especially coaches, we will have to limit enrollment. For more information on volunteering, click here.
