The goal of Jenison Robotics is to create independent thinkers who develop critical reasoning skills. In order to accomplish this goal at a competitive level students need to have a genuine desire to learn and participate.
Students going into 7th-12th grade for the 2020-2021 school year must complete the following requirements to be considered for participation on the 2020 - 2021 robotics team.
This process would normally be done with an initial meeting and paper applications. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are processing the upcoming seasons applications and teacher recommendation forms online. Please note this application must be filled out by the student, not the parent.
Online applications for the upcoming season will be accepted thru May 29, 2020 at 11:59 PM. Application packets which includes teacher recommendation forms will be reviewed by the Robotics Committee and students will be informed of their acceptance to the robotics team. The list of students will be posted on our website and sent out in an email by 5 PM on June 5. At that time, registration and payment links will be provided to team members. Payment and online registration forms will be due by June 19.
Note: Registration cost for the upcoming year will be $125 per child along with a minimum number of volunteer hours at league nights and tournaments.
